God, I have been
very strange lately. This particular "Emotional Week"
has been a real roller coaster, and I've taken everyone along
with me for the ride. I get upset SO easily, and I take it out
on one person in particular, probably the last person to deserve
it. Last night, when I was being a bitter bitch for a reason
that barely justifies how I was acting, I was really trying
to understand why I was acting that way. I even got to the point
where I didn't want to act that way. I could see how unfair
I was being, and I didn't want to upset anyone else anymore,
but I still couldn't relax and enjoy the conversation. I couldn't
be comfortable. I was clinging to some sort of anger, I was
clinging so tightly and I didn't even want to. I woke up feeling
exhausted and shitty.
I had such a strange sleep too. About a million dreams. At 10am,
my landlord knocked on my door. I yell through the door: "Hello?"
He replies, "Hello?" Well, he knows I'm there and
he knows who I am because I live there, but I would like to
know who the fuck's at my door. This happened last time too.
"Who is it???" As if the "hello" wasn't
obvious enough. He tells me that the plumber is coming to fix
the leak. I go back to bed, and he comes back a half hour later.
I answer the door, "Yeah?" "Will you
be here in a half hour when the plumber comes?"
I'm in my PJs and I'm OBVIOUSLY still in bed. Why the fuck wouldn't
I be here in a half hour? Half hour later, I'm woken up once
again by the plumber. They have to come into my apartment and
go through the wall of my bathroom to figure out the problem.
I go back to sleep. It's probably not a smart thing to do when
there are strange men in my apartment, but I'm tired, and I
need to go back to sleep. I manage to sleep through most of
the drilling, most of their conversation. I eventually get up
and ask them to install my showerhead for me.
Turns out that the leak is all the cable guy's fault. You know
how I was told that this apartment was wired for cable when
I was looking at the place for the first time? Well, it's not.
The cable guy had to wire the whole building, but I guess he
decided to use the water pipe to run all the wires, and he caused
the leak. Part of me feels like it's my fault because I called
the guy to come in a wire the place, but I was also told by
both the realtor and the landlord that it was already wired,
so I figured it's absolutely not my fault at all.
I'm watching A Dating Story on TLC right now, and this girl
is hanging with her friends in the pool talking. She's been
in and out of the water and she's now sitting by the side with
her hair all wet and her bikini on. Thing is, she has full make-up
on - FULL. She has mascara, blush, full red lipstick. Isn't
that strange? You can't wear make-up in the pool - not that
much.
Okay, I REALLY have to go to the bathroom, #1 AND #2, but I
think the water is shut off and these guys are working in my
bathroom. Can't exactly go stick in the place up, can I.
The heat is pumping in here, and I'm actually pretty warm, so
I'm thinking it must be like 50 degrees out. No. It's 26. God,
winter is just not giving up here. Oh, according to weather.com,
it's 25 degrees, but feels like 12. Nightmare.
I'm going to go. Should I go somewhere to go to the bathroom?
This is starting to be a real problem. |
