Let's
get this American Idol discussion out of the way.
Corey Clark. whoa. He claims that he didn't beat his sister.
I'm gonna go with that he did. How old is his sister? Is she
the one who says he did? Maybe he just sang to her and popped
her eardrums when he went for those high notes. Corey Clark's
singing is sort of like being beaten. I should take him to
court myself for these past few weeks of torture.
I missed the Wednesday when Julia Demato went home. I can't
believe I missed it. I've been waiting for her LONG overdue
vote off and it finally came. Finally, people. What took you
so damn long? Then I felt bad for her. I bet she was sobbing
her damn face off. She was probably more releaved than anything.
She's no superstar. But I can't believe Rickey Smith and Kimberly
Caldwell were in the bottom three. Well, no, I don't like
Smith. The man bores me to tears. Sure, he's solid, but a
little too lite FM for me. I don't know, I think Kimberly
Caldwell should be there longer and shouldn't be in the bottom
three. I don't know what the deal is, but she is not well
liked. Then this week - disco. Kimberely Locke in the bottom
three? Come on, the girl has been performing really well and
looking great. There is no need for that. Now, Carmen. I don't
know why I like her, but I do. I don't know anyone who likes
her, but I think she's a nice girl. I like her attitude. I
like the tone of her voice, even though I HATE her vibrato.
Still, I like her. I think it's interesting that the people
in the bottom three keep changing. Treynce in the bottom?
Hmm...now I can see that she has talent, but I don't love
her voice. Get gets all swallowed-sounding when she sings
high. And too much Whitney Houston. Aren't they supposed to
vary it up?
So, TOTAL bullshit that they didn't vote someone off. To go
through all that bullshit or an HOUR LONG SHOW then have NO
CONCLUSION!! It's mean, and it's a waste of time. I don't
like it.
I'm watching Mad Love. Drew Barrymore and Chris O'Donnell.
Not a very good movie. Not really about anything at all. It
does make me want to go on a road trip though. I never liked
the idea of road trips when I was a bit younger. I thought
they were dumb. I didn't like the idea of being in a car until
your ass falls asleep. Now, I don't know...I think it's fun.
It's amazing to see what the rest of the country looks like.
Makes you want to pull over to some random small town and
ask people what their life is like there.
Mad Love gives me the same feeling as Thelma and Louise. It's
that feeling of freedom. They just abandon their responsibilities,
their entire lives that made them feel so suffocated, powerless,
and restrained. They just drive. They breath in the air. They
soak up the sun. They don't know what their lives will be
like, where they are going, what will happen, and it doesn't
matter. Their goal is just to live, to feel alive. They make
the sensation of unfamiliarity the norm. They are completely
untied to all of society. I watch that I imagine that feeling,
that lifestyle. Part of me thinks it sounds so appealing,
but not in a way where I want it. It's like a fantasy that
I love to have, but never want to come true. Have you ever
had one of those? I wish you didn't wish for? It's strange,
but it makes perfect sense. Emotions are always right, they
always make perfect sense. They just don't always match up
with logic or reality.
Okay, I just was outside for a while running some errands,
and I'm pretty pissed at God right now for this bullshit weather.
You have to blame Him because it's the weather - who else
are you going to blame? Anyway, what is this bullshit? My
car was covered in snow and ice. It's below freezing. IT'S
APRIL FOURTH!!!! Did He not get the memo? Spring = warm. You'd
think He'd know being the Creator and all.
It's 29 degrees, windchill of 21. The record low for today
is 21 in 1954. So, we're basically experiencing a record low.
As in, it's the coldest it's EVER BEEN for April 4th. What's
even better is that it's supposed to snow/sleet/freezing rain
for a week - all temperatures in 20s and 30s. This is definitely
a sign to move out of New England. |
