Goddamn
it!!! When I make a major typo or grammatical error, ESPECIALLY
when I'm in the middle of making fun of someone ELSE'S errors,
then I expect any one of my friends who reads this, and there
are a few, to email me immediately to point them out so that
I can fix them before too many others read this. When they
come down to stupid shit you learned when you were in third
grade like the difference between their and they're, and to/too/two
- I would like to assume that people who care about me wouldn't
let DAYS go by without trying to save me a little. I have
only one friend who points them out to me, and I have a feeling
that every one of my friends noticed these mistakes...and
let them be, silently laughing to themselves. Meaghan, you're
a writer! You have to help me out with this shit. I can't
see my own errors, I can only see others'.
Isn't that true for most of us on a higher level?
So, I'm the big fucking asshole here. Yup, there is no denying
that. HUGE mistakes, really bad timing. I'm sure there are
like five million in this entry alone. I cannot fucking see
them. I'm going to have to start posting everything a day
late. Apparently, I need to put shit away after I write, give
it some time, and read it a day later, because even when I
read it after I write it, I'm only seeing what I'm trying
to say, I'm not seeing words.
Horrible way to start a day when you have a job interview.
Just horrible.
I'll start that posting-a-day-later thing tomorrow. I have
ten minutes to get ready. |
