Let me begin with my American Idol report:

Firstly - the theme is musicals. MUSICALS!!! What are they trying to DO to me? It's like...too much good shit in one hour.

Scott - sucked. I'm SOOO over him. His pitch is SO bad. I hate how he lacks personality. His vibrato is so damn thick that you don't even know which note he's TRYING to hit because it spans an octave alone.

Constantine - DAMN you for having these solid performances. I didn't hate you this week, and I HATE YOU FOR THAT! He did great. Fuck. But he did.

Carrie - I thought it was just lovely. I wasn't bored at all. I was really into it. More important - she's officially proven to me that one can be successful without needing to belt over a C. I just didn't know. I might not have that IT factor, but I can belt that high.

Vonzell - I don't like this song. God, she must have so much singing with that range. Not her best, but solid enough to keep her there. I still love her.

Side note: No one is pissing me off like Paula. Croll out of their asses, lady. Her compliments to Scott seriously turned my stomach.

Anthony - This sounds like a demo on an electric keyboard. You know what I mean? When you press the red button? Look, he's sweet. He seems to be a good guy. He has a great voice. I just...I'm just done here. Shit, but when he's up there taking that negative criticism, those damn sad expressions, ARGH, it makes me want to hug him. Shit, makes me want to cry for him.

Nikko - my friend, Mike and I sang this at my sister's wedding. Wow, what an amazing arrangement of this. He did great. Really great. TOTAL chills. Shit, look at me with an opinion on Nikko!!! Wow.

Anwar - I personally think he did just great. Not his best performance, but surely his best in a WHILE. I thought it was smooth, controlled, and passionate. Look at him laughing, he's hilarious.

Bo - Too bad they couldn't get the rights to something like Rent. So many great rock operas that Bo could have KILLED. Shit. All this old school bullshit. What about something from Hair? Pippin? His worst performance. Whatever, he's amazing and will be successful no matter what.

Nadia - damn, she looks beautiful. This is the most controlled and elegant her voice has sounded in a while. Anti-climactic. She sounds like she struggles with loud, higher notes. Every week. She's not exactly a powerhouse. Missing something.

Boring show this week, eh?
