I lost my tape for this, so I’m going by memory and a review by mightybigtv.com as to what happened. I don’t have much to say about this episode at all, really. Mike tells bad jokes. You know, his jokes aren’t even that bad, but he has no gift in joke-telling. No timing. I watched this episode with my friends Dave and Jim in Queens. We all thought it was really funny the way I was disgusted with Mike’s jokes.

The Arista job. Again, boring. What is there to say about this? I was excited. I thought maybe this would be the ticket to getting a music career. However, this was just the beginning of my realizing that I didn’t know exactly what direction I wanted my “music career” to go. My whole life was about joining a club or being in an annual musical. I’ve done nothing but imitation, and I’ve never come to conclude what my music is. In fact, this was my entire focus of my audition video. Who am I? I guess actually being on the show didn’t help answer that for me like I had hoped it would.

So, you saw what you saw, and that was it. Kevin and I laughed really hard when we saw that we were sharing a desk. “It’s SO first week,” we said, which is what we always say when referencing to a romance between us.
