Window display. Okay, this episode needed to be like five hours long because only that could capture how much work we put into these windows. Coral was the ring leader for our group. She and Kevin came up with the idea. I’m not good at coming up with ideas, I’m just good at completing tasks. I HATE finding materials, but Kevin is good at it. We’d send Kevin out to get our shit, and Coral and I would put it together. We really worked hard for this. They didn’t mention on the show what the prize was for winning: it was a 60 second spree around HMV, all you can hold on in your arms. Fucking rocked.

Miz is funny in this one. I think the season had too much Miz, but it was funny when he’s attacking Coral and Coral blatantly ignores him.

Back to the display. There is a girl who works at BMG named Rachel who is a psycho bitch. She could not have been ruder to my group. She wanted the other group to win, so she made it as difficult as possible for us to get what we needed done. BMG was not that much help at all, actually. Coral and I liked to work late and sleep in late. We worked for 11 hours, and decided to sleep until noon, then work into the following night. Devon gave us shit for not being at BMG earlier. Coral and I were fucking rip-shit about that. We worked five hours longer than the other group and he was telling us we weren’t working hard enough because we weren’t working during the morning. SO mad about that. I’m a monster early in the morning. Coral was the only one who so my SERIOUS bitch side. I was glad she saw it though because she needed to know I had it if we were going to be real friends.

Anyway, we all had a great time making the background for the bathroom. We used so much paintspray without masks that when Coral sneezed later, it was the color of the paint. We had inhaled a lethal amount.

The other group is crazy with that fighting. It was so ridiculous. Kevin, Coral, and I didn’t fight once. We got really close actually. That fight they had on the street was out of control. Fighting makes me really tense.

Well, anyway, when we finished our window that took OH so much time to put together, had took the BMG van down to the other window display at night to see our competition. We got out of the van and laughed our asses off. Honestly, our window rocked, their window sucked. No doubt about it. I wish we could have seen that footage of us making fun of their window. It was great.

Anyway, the only reason why the votes were so close was because Malik gave some big ’ol kiss-assy speech about Dido to the judges. I still give Malik shit about this. The competition was on WINDOW DISPLAYS, not on public speaking. Whatever, we won. I ended up feeling so frantic while I was running around during the 60 second spree that I grabbed shit I would NEVER listen to, like Cher.

YEY, fun with Miz. I LOVE this scene. It was so much fun. When Mike and I started playing, he was really kicking my ass. It even hurt, but it was fun. All of a sudden, a pillow came flying out of no where and hit Mike. Mike and I were both completely confused and stopped everything to figure out what just happened. We turned around and saw Coral’s head slightly peaking out around the corner. It was one of my most favorite moments in the house because it was the first time Coral really let lose with Mike. Shocked, but thrilled, Mike grabbed her and we all kept on wrestling. It was a really good night, and I’m glad other people got to see it too.

Nicole’s meeting. When Nicole called the meeting, she wouldn’t tell us what it was about beforehand. We were hanging out on the roof a lot because it was one gorgeous day after another. No airconditioning in the house, so the roof was a cool place to relax. Coral said she wouldn’t be able to come to the meeting that night because her friend Delena (sp?) was in town and they had plans. Nicole said it was fine. When we gathered for the meeting, I was nervous. There was a big deal happening, and we didn’t know what it was. They had two camera crews up there, so I knew it had to be important. When she started explaining that she wanted things to be better in the house. It was the greatest moment. It was like a huge weight was lifted off of all of us, and for the first time, that house felt like a real place to us. It was filled with warmth and laughter, which had always existed in that house, but never without some sort of pain or crying happening in the corner of some room. We were all happy together for the first time, and I actually felt like I was home. I was proud of Nicole too. It was all a big shock only because I didnÕt know it was bothering her. When she started crying, I was moved and totally surprised.

Coral was upset that she missed that meeting. She didn’t know the meeting was going to be that important, and she wanted to be there. I didnÕt know how she would react when we told her what happened. She then said that she wanted to get to know the boys. She said she thought it was stupid that she lived there so long and didnÕt even know who some of her roommates were. I was moved by this as well. Next thing you know, Coral, the boys and I were all hanging out all the time. The five musketeers. You can read about that in the book.
